Website Redesign Services That Keep Your Rankings and Win More Customers
A modern, mobile-first website designed around how your customers decide, built to load fast and migrated without losing the Google rankings you already have.

Website Design & Redesign, done by one experienced specialist
Most websites don’t fail because they look dated. They fail because they’re slow on a phone, they bury the one thing a visitor came to do, and nobody can update them without breaking something. A redesign is the chance to fix all three at once.
I design and build the new site myself, so the person planning the layout is the same person writing the code and handling the SEO. Nothing gets lost between a “design team” and a “dev team”, and every page is built to rank and convert from day one. Before anything changes, I map every existing URL so your search traffic carries over to the new site.
Does this sound familiar?
- Your site looks fine on a desktop but frustrating on a phone
- You’re embarrassed to send people to it
- Leads have dried up and you don’t know why
- Every small change means paying someone or breaking something
- It scores in the red on Google PageSpeed Insights
- You’ve outgrown a DIY builder (Wix, Squarespace, GoDaddy)
What’s included
Every engagement is scoped to your site, but these are the parts I cover.
Discovery & content plan
We review your goals, customers, competitors and analytics, then agree on a sitemap and the action you want each page to drive.
Custom design
Wireframes and a visual design that fits your brand, reviewed with you before a line of code is written.
Mobile-first build
Built for phones first, then scaled up. Clean, lightweight code with no page-builder bloat.
SEO-safe migration
URL mapping, 301 redirects, titles, meta descriptions and schema carried over or improved, so rankings survive the launch.
Conversion elements
Clear calls to action, click-to-call, quote forms, trust signals and tracking for every enquiry.
Training & handover
A short recorded walkthrough so you can edit pages, add posts and swap images yourself.
How it works

You review wireframes, then the full design. Two rounds of revisions are built in.
Build & migrate
I build on a private staging site, move the content and set up redirects.
Launch & monitor
Go-live, Search Console checks and two weeks of monitoring for errors and ranking changes.

Frequently asked questions
Will a redesign hurt my Google rankings?
It can, if URLs change without redirects or content gets cut. I prevent that by mapping every old URL to its new home, keeping the content that ranks, and checking Search Console daily after launch. Most of my redesigns gain traffic within a few months because the new site is faster and better structured.
How long does a website redesign take?
A typical small-business redesign of 10–25 pages takes 4–6 weeks. Larger sites, eCommerce stores and custom functionality take longer. The biggest factor is usually how quickly content and feedback come back.
Can you keep my current content?
Yes. I can move your existing text and images across, rewrite key pages for clarity and SEO, or mix both. I’ll tell you which pages are worth keeping as they are, based on what currently ranks and converts.
How much does a website redesign cost?
It depends on page count, content work and functionality. I quote a fixed price after a free consultation. For typical market ranges, see my website cost guide.
