This policy explains how Mihail Mitov (“I”, “me”) collects, uses and protects personal information through mihailmitov.com. I am based in British Columbia, Canada, and handle personal information in line with Canada’s Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and British Columbia’s Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA).
Information I collect
- Information you send me: when you use the quote or contact forms, I receive your name, email address, and anything else you choose to provide, such as your phone number, website, budget and project details.
- Technical information: the hosting platform (Cloudflare) processes standard request data such as IP address, browser type and pages requested, to deliver and secure the site. The form handler records the country the request came from.
This website does not use advertising cookies or tracking pixels. If analytics are added in future, this policy will be updated first.
How I use it
- To reply to your enquiry and prepare quotes or proposals.
- To deliver services you have hired me for, and to keep records required for accounting and tax purposes.
- To protect the site and forms from spam and abuse.
I do not sell, rent or trade personal information, and I do not add you to a mailing list without your consent.
How it’s handled
Form submissions are delivered by email using Cloudflare’s email service to my business inbox. Cloudflare and my email provider may store data outside Canada, including in the United States, where it may be subject to local laws. I keep enquiry emails only as long as needed to respond and for reasonable business records.
Your rights
You can ask to see the personal information I hold about you, ask me to correct it, or ask me to delete it where I’m not required to keep it. Contact me using the details below.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS, forms are protected against spam and header injection, and access to my business accounts is protected with strong passwords and two-factor authentication. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but I take reasonable steps to protect your information.
