Website & Hosting Migration, done by one experienced specialist

Migrations are where websites quietly lose years of SEO. A missed redirect here, a changed URL there, a forgotten email record, and suddenly traffic is down 40% and the contact form stopped sending.

I plan migrations like surgery: everything backed up, every URL mapped, DNS changes timed to avoid downtime, and a checklist run on the new server before and after the switch.

Does this sound familiar?

  • Your host is slow, expensive or ending support
  • You want to move from Wix, Squarespace or Joomla to WordPress
  • You’re changing your domain name or merging two sites
  • You’re moving to managed WordPress or Cloudflare
  • A previous migration broke links or forms
  • You need cPanel, Plesk or VPS setup done properly

What’s included

Every engagement is scoped to your site, but these are the parts I cover.

Full backup & inventory

Files, databases, emails, DNS records and every URL documented before anything moves.

Server setup

New hosting configured: cPanel, Plesk, WHM, VPS or cloud, with SSL and caching.

Platform migration

Content moved from Wix, Squarespace, Joomla or static sites into WordPress.

Redirect mapping

301 redirects for every changed URL to keep rankings and backlinks.

DNS & email

DNS cut-over planned for zero downtime, with email records (MX, SPF, DKIM) preserved.

Post-launch checks

Forms, links, Search Console and analytics verified after the move.

How it works

  1. Inventory

Everything that exists today, documented and backed up.

  2. Stage

The site is built or copied onto the new host and tested privately.

  3. Switch

DNS cut-over at a quiet time, with TTLs lowered in advance.

  4. Verify

Redirects, forms, email and indexing checked over the following days.

Frequently asked questions

Will my website go down during migration?

Not if it’s planned properly. I prepare the new server fully, lower DNS TTLs in advance and switch at a quiet time, so visitors don’t notice.

Will I lose my SEO rankings?

A same-URL hosting move has no SEO impact. When URLs or platforms change, I map every old URL to a new one with 301 redirects and monitor Search Console afterwards.

Can you migrate from Wix or Squarespace to WordPress?

Yes. These platforms don’t offer a one-click export, so I rebuild the pages in WordPress, move the content and images, and redirect the old URLs.

What about my email?

I document your mail setup before the move and preserve or migrate it so nothing is lost.
